The principal Dentist and owner of the practice, Martina was born in Westminster, educated at Greycoats School, read Dentistry at Guys Hospital, University of London and enjoys also living locally.
Martina opened Millbank Dental Care in Ponsonby Place in 1997 and together with loyal, long-standing colleagues, some of whom hold senior hospital positions, we ensure continuity of care for our growing list of patients.
We have never advertised, and the practice has grown by recommendations from satisfied existing patients.
Martina believes in offering the highest standard of care tailored to suit each individual patient in a modern hygienic setting. Her special interests are preventive and cosmetic dentistry.
Martina has undergone postgraduate training in medical Dental hypnosis and is especially interested in helping anxious or phobic patients to overcome their fears and to attain good Dental Health.
Dr Papadopoulos graduated from the Dental School of Athens and, following that, worked as a dentist at the 401 Military Hospital of Athens as part of his military training. After that, he worked in private practice doing general dentistry, prosthodontics, and implant dentistry in Athens, before moving to London.
In 2018, he completed his 3-year Prosthodontic training at the Royal London Dental Hospital and was awarded his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) degree from Queen Mary University of London with a Distinction grade. He also completed the M Pros examination and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In 2022, he completed a 2-year postgraduate degree in Academic Practice aimed at enhancing teaching practice, and he was accepted as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
He is a GDC registered Specialist in Prosthodontics working privately in different locations in London. He has a position as a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Prosthodontics at Queen Mary University of London, supervising and teaching dentists who are training to become specialists. He is also currently involved in teaching newly qualified dentists as part of their Dental Foundation scheme, and is an examiner for the Prosthodontic Diploma of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Ioannis attends national and international congresses regularly, keeping up to date with the latest evidence in Prosthodontics. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and has been awarded several prizes, including the British Society of Prosthodontics Oral Presentation Prize.
He is an active member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the British Dental Association (BDA). Furthermore, in 2023, he was accepted as a Fellow of the ITI, a position that fewer than 80 members have in the UK & Ireland section.
He is experienced in all aspects of fixed and removable Prosthodontics, including restoration of damaged and missing teeth, dental implants, dental aesthetics, and digital dentistry.

Dr George Prodromidis graduated with a DDS from the University of Athens in 1997. In 1999, he was awarded a scholarship from the States Scholarship Foundation. In 2001, he achieved an MSc in Oral Pathobiology and a clinical speciality in Oral Medicine. In 2009, he completed his second master’s degree in Implantology at the University of Münster in Germany. At the Eastman Postgraduate Dental Institute in London, he studied Conscious Sedation and Pain Management and received his certification in 2015. He is also a qualified provider of the full range of Invisalign Orthodontic treatments.
Dr Prodromidis is a caring and experienced dental surgeon who aims for clinical excellence in every aspect of Dentistry and particularly in the fields of Implantology, Aesthetic dentistry and Oral surgery. Along with his surgical skills, he is well qualified and equipped to provide highly aesthetic/cosmetic treatments. He enjoys caring for his patients’ dental health long term and can also treat their children.
Outside of dentistry, George enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys marathon running, boxing, and keeping up with personal training sessions on a weekly basis.

Ines graduated from the Egas Moniz Health Sciences Institute in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2006. She then worked as a General Dental Practitioner for 3 years in Birmingham, gaining invaluable experience in general dentistry.
Thereafter, she completed the 3-year specialist training focusing on Periodontology and Implant dentistry at world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute, UCL (University College London), and gained the Membership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She was also awarded a Certificate in Periodontology by the European Federation of Periodontology
Nowadays, Ines is based in London and is working as a Specialist in Periodontics, and Implant Surgeon in private practices in London, Oxfordshire and Bath.
Ines has gained extensive experience in the field of advanced gum disease treatment with expertise on non-surgical and surgical treatment of periodontal disease, including conventional and regenerative periodontal surgery using the most advanced, scientifically tested and safe biomaterials. She is also involved in the reconstructive/cosmetic aspects of periodontal (plastic) surgery, improving the smile applied to both teeth and implants.
Ines is committed to practising the highest level of dentistry based on her experience, qualifications and academic background.
Outside of dentistry, she is very passionate about cinema, theatre and travelling.
Ramandeep graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2011. He then completed his Vocational Training in Uxbridge, followed by 5 years in general practice in the West London region. During this time, he completed his Membership to the Joint Dental Faculties and successfully undertook the Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education at the University of Bedfordshire. This was followed by his election onto the Ealing, Hounslow and Hammersmith Local Dental Committee in 2016. In 2018, he completed his Master’s degree from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in Endodontics, graduating with distinction and being nominated for the ‘Dean’s Research Prize’ for his dissertation. He continues to work as a part-time Speciality Doctor in the Endodontic Department at Eastman Dental Hospital.
Ramandeep has a strong interest in providing a patient-centred approach to his treatment and recognises the importance of being able to talk to his patients and make them feel at ease.
In his spare time, Ramandeep enjoys keeping fit at the gym, playing football and travelling.
Dr Bal is a UK-registered specialist orthodontist. She is one of the few Dentists to complete 3 years postgraduate orthodontic training at W.Sussex Hospital trust and the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institute, where she was awarded a Master's in Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics, whilst treating multidisciplinary cases. She was also awarded Membership in Orthodontics by the Royal College of Surgeons of England for her academic and clinical training.
Dr Bal loves being an orthodontist and cosmetic dentist. She is an active member of the British Orthodontic Society and a keen participant in both national and international congresses to ensure that she can offer her patients the most up-to-date evidence-based treatments. Her specialist expertise equips her with a broad knowledge to treat all types of problems in both adults and children with a wide range of aesthetic brace options. This includes clear fixed braces, Invisalign, lingual braces (braces that sit on the inside of the teeth) and functional appliances. She is committed to delivering excellent aesthetics and providing high-quality clinical care to her patients.
For children between 7 to 12 years old, Dr Bal has a gentle & compassionate approach and is passionate about the early management of paediatric malocclusion and offers interceptive treatment when it is in the child’s best interest & can be planned and implemented at the right stage of their development. The use of clear aligners in children can be used to avoid brackets/wires is comfortable and can help children & teenagers to be confident in their smiles.
Dr Bal has a unique & modern eye for detail in facial proportions & teeth and can combine her orthodontic treatment with teeth enhancing treatments such as whitening, veneers, re-contouring, composite bonding and bleaching. She can also use muscle relaxing treatments to soften frown lines, and dermal fillers to enhance the natural smile & overall facial aesthetics.
Previously, Dr Bal graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2015 and went on to be a senior house officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. She won several awards, including for her research in Jacksonville, Florida, USA. She has published scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented her research in Europe and Australia. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, volunteering and reading.
Jack De Ste Croix has been with us for many years and currently works at Millbank Dental Care on Mondays and Fridays. He qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist from Manchester University in 2013. Since qualifying, Jack has worked in private practice and within salaried dental services. He spent over 4 years working for Bart’s NHS trust, originally working in their Community Dental clinics around East London. During this time, he worked in outreach clinics treating special care patients, he also carried out domiciliary visits and helped with preventative oral health programmes in schools around Hackney and Tower Hamlets.
Following this post, he moved over to the Royal London dental hospital and worked in the Restorative department alongside the Periodontal Specialists, treating patients with complex dental needs. Jack is currently a Clinical Tutor for Queen Mary University based at the Royal London Dental Hospital:
This role involves the clinical supervision of undergraduate therapy students and facilitating small group teaching. At Millbank, Jack works very closely alongside our Periodontists, Dr Joanne Barker and Dr Innes Fort'e, helping to treat patients with periodontal disease. He also delivers integrated care alongside our many specialists to ensure all of our patients receive an excellent level of care. He is very comfortable treating paediatric patients and nervous patients and works in a calm, relaxed manner. In his spare time, Jack enjoys watching and playing many sports. he has a particular interest in football, rugby and golf, which he regularly plays with his friends.
Dr. Drishti Gokani brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team, with over a decade of experience in dental care. She is highly skilled and is passionate about maintaining the health of your teeth and gums. She is very gentle and understanding, and especially caring for nervous patients. Whether a new patient who perhaps hasn’t been to a Hygienist or Dentist in a long time or a regular patient, Drishti approaches each patient with empathy, ensuring they feel valued, listens to their concerns, and provides reassurance and support throughout their experience, focusing on gentle techniques during the hygiene procedure.
Her calm demeanour helps alleviate anxiety, making hygienist visits more pleasant for the patients. A true advocate for oral health, she is passionate about guiding patients on the importance of dental hygiene with the aim of maintaining their teeth for life.
For children, she emphasises the importance of education and early intervention by prevention and making their dental visits fun, ensuring they have a strong foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles. She carries out fissure sealants to protect their teeth, especially the first molars.
She also has expertise in providing professional teeth whitening services to enhance patients’ smiles and boost their confidence safely and effectively.
She began her career at the prestigious St. George Hospital in Mumbai, where she worked for a year, honing her clinical skills and gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced environment. Following her time at the hospital, she spent the next nine years providing top-notch dental care at a private clinic, where she was known for her meticulous attention to detail and compassionate approach to patient care.
With a passion for ensuring her patients feel comfortable and informed, Dr. Drishti is committed to providing the highest standard of dental care, helping each patient achieve and maintain a healthy, beautiful smile.
