Preventative Dentistry

Healthy gums: It is important that the gums and bone that support our teeth are kept healthy. Surveys have shown that the majority of adults have gum disease, which is first noticed when the gums bleed after tooth brushing. Halitosis (bad breath) is another indicator.

We use the latest American bleaching techniques to whiten discoloured or yellow teeth to create a natural white smile that lasts

White Fillings

White (Mercury free) Fillings can be used to replace old amalgam fillings.

Cosmetic Veneers

If teeth are chipped, uneven or have gaps between them they can be restored or enhanced with minimum tooth preparation using modern porcelain bonding techniques.

Crowns and Bridges

These are used to replace missing or decayed teeth. They are bonded to adjacent teeth and, unlike dentures, have the advantage that they are fixed.

Cosmetic Bonding

Where teeth are sound but rotated or spaced, we avoid cutting good enamel for cosmetics, but a nicer smile can be created by bonding a porcelain-like material in a colour to match your natural tooth. This procedure involves no drilling, is totally reversible and is done in one visit.

Orthodontic treatment is most often used to improve the appearance and alignment of crooked, protruding or crowded teeth, and to correct problems with the bite of the teeth.
